W. W. Glover Cemetery 2nd Saturday Volunteer and Education Day

Volunteers are needed to serve the neighborhood including people, ants, and birds. Our morning begins with greetings, introductions, observations, orientation, discussion of plans. To be in on this, come to the front gate around 8:00. We plan to stay until 11:00. Average morning temperatures range from 80 to 90 degrees. You are welcome to search for your favorite native plant, ant, bird, and new friend. Darrell and his beautiful dog, Sadie will probably stop to visit and there are normally food vendors at the street.

By encouraging native vegetation, we are inviting native ants and birds into the cemetery. “The ants are a people not strong, yet they prepare their meat in the summer. The birds of the sky live beside the springs; they sing among the foliage.” (Holy Bible, Proverbs 30:25; Psalm 104:12)
